About Connor

Connor’s Teaching Philosophy

Learning to play a musical instrument is one of the most rewarding tasks a person can do. It can improve so many areas of our lives, from boosting memory and focus to improving muscle coordination. Music also requires us to build other skills like time management, stress management, and most of all, patience. It is my belief that when we play an instrument, or create any type of music, we are actively improving ourselves as a whole person. Therefore, it is my goal as a teacher to guide students through the process of learning the clarinet so that they can benefit from all of these wonderful facets of music.
